hi, I have all the neo geo games working in mame - and they also work in my mame wheel on hyperspin. But I really wanted the SNK neo geo wheel, so got it all setup - through hyperlaunch all the games launch and work perfectly. However when I go into hyperspin and try to start a game, nothing happens. Does anyone have any ideas - in hyperlaunch I used the global emulator mame - not sure what else to do.

thanks for any help

hi, i would but there is no info in the log when i try to start a neo geo game through hyperspin. If i start the game through hlhq then the log comes up. Its like the start button is not working in hyperspin to start the game - although it works on all my other systems like mame, nes, snes etc.

Ok, that makes me think you do not have HyperLaunch enabled in HyperHQ. Check your emulator settings there.

Thanks,

i figured it out - for some reason using SNK neo geo just would not work using mame as the emulator. So in hyperlaunch HQ i switched it over from SNK neo geo to SNK Neo Geo AES and everything works perfectly now. Not sure why the other name would not use mame.

Thanks for the help

When you make your wheels make sure your spelling them according to the icons in Hyperlaunch/hyperlaunchHQ/media/icons folder. Maybe you spelled your wheel wrong. Should be SNK Neo Geo with the caps. It matters because the wheel name and the database have to be spelled identically.
