After 4 days trying to get Nintendo 64 roms to run and play with 360 pad i fnally cracked it. I abandoned project 64 and decided id try Mupen64Plus i found this loads less annoying to configure , The main reason it wasnt working was the fact i had the wrong emulator version , youll need version 2.5 you can get it easily if you search the Mupen64 old versions site. Then i downloaded a fresh hyperspin 1.5.1 and a fresh Rocketlauncher and all i did for a few days was watch the very decent if a little out of date tutorials on here. Next i downloqded the joytokey program which has a free trial and doesnt require you to pay for it and still has full functionality a licence was around £5.99 or about $10 , watched tutorials on that too ,  much easier than creating your own AHK scripts my final error was ghat it wasnt finding the database XML but after a bit of file searching i learnt that i hadnt put it in a Nintendo 64. folder in Rocket launcherUI\Databases\Nindtendo 64 (put it here inside this last folder?) proceeded to run hyperspin now it works Fantastic with 360 control pad , Thankyou for this MOST AMAZING Front end once up and running i believe to be the best ?
