We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. Hi,

Im a newbie. This is my first time making my own custom arcade cabinet. Im using Hyperspin as my frontend. My control panel i made using Sanwa buttons and joystick with the Zero Delay Encoder.

I have been trying for a week to get it setup into hyperlunch and hyperspin and nothing i do works. Ive searched the internet and cant anything to help. when i do a test on HQ none of the buttons or joystick work. I have tried in on MAME outside of hyperlaunch and it all works well. What should i do? I want to be able to control the front end, hyperspin with my joystick, i dont want to use a mouse.

Please help.

Thanks in advance

I am not familiar with that encoder however if it shows up as a usb joystick hyperspin doesnt work with a joystick it only works with keyboard keys. To get around that you will need something like xpadder to map your joystick directions and buttons to keyboard keys that you set in hyperhq. Good luck.

I looked at that encoder and it is a joystick encoder so you will need a keymapper like xpadder to get it working.
