Is there anyway to instantly play the video previews without having to wait a second or two for them to fade in? I have been looking around the .ini's and haven't found anything of the sort, is this possible?

Preview video behaviors are controlled by the theme. You'd have to open the theme editor and change how the preview video shows up. I did that very thing so they show vids instantly in my system themes.
