VinRisen360 Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 Hello Everyone, I registered since quite a while and have been using HyperSpin on my WindowsPC since HyperSpinv1.2.3. Back in the days HyperSpin v1.2.3 was developed for WIndows XP and I already wrote scripts and programs to make it work on Windows 7. I recently upgraded to HyperSpin v.1.5.1 due to Windows 10 1903/1909 was not starting HyperSpin v1.2.3 at all. I even replaced XPadder by JoyToKey due to XPadder was not working good in Windows 7 and XPadder failing completely in WIndows 10. Now in Windows 10 Home 1909, HyperSpin v1.5.1 works perfectly for me. Now I have created quite a bunch of usefull programs, AHK files etc. which I use in my HyperSpin Installation. I had to do this, because the default AHKScripts don't always work with newer Versions of the Emulators. Now here is my question. I want to become a part of the developer team of hyperspin and would like to know, if this is possible. Unfortunately, I didn't find a github page for HyperSpin and the HyperSpin-Download Version of this site is already 2 years old. Is HyperSpin still in developement and how can someone contribute to it? P.S.: Much kudos for all the awesome people behind HyperSpin. You are doing a great job Kind Regards, Vin
fr0stbyt3 Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 Hi Vin! First off, YES. The developers of hyperspin are here and active behind the scenes. Right now we're not looking at bringing on additional development resources at this time. Hyperspin itself is not open source and so contributing is a little hard as it is currently structured. Fear not though. We have changed to make creating plugins and interacting with hyperspin quite a bit easier in the future. Feel free to PM me with additional details on what you have created and what you would like to contribute. I very much look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your kind words - Fr0st
