HS Weird issues

Hi All,

Anyone help me out with this one

I am running HS on an Arcade monitor at 15Khz, GroovyMAME, VMMaker set to 90 resolutions.

When I start HS all's well, I go in MAME wheel and load a game, no problem. I exit the game back to HS and no other game in the list will load until I reboot. Also sometimes when I select a game it reboots the PC almost like I have hit the reset button?

Any ideas?

I'd guess that when you exit the game the module isn't able to close the groovymame.exe in your processes, and since it's running, it won't launch again. Launch a game and then open Task Manager to confirm. If this is the case, may need to find a better emulator/module combo. I can't speak to it rebooting the PC though.

Let me check to see if that's the case that when I exit a game that its not closing down the mame.exe

OK I am nearly there, just need one little bit of advice...

When I start HS and it loads up, soon as the vid starts it reboots the whole system. If I make it so there are no vids (change the video folder to video11111 say) HS runs sweat!

So the problem lies with when the vids start. I am using VistaCodecs_v661.exe

Any ideas

Are you using FLV or MP4? I hear FLVs cause problems.

I am using .mp4 mate. If if go into the video folder outside HS and click on any vid, the play in media player without any issues.

Sorted now chaps....

For those that are in interested. You have to install Firefox. Load a YT vid, right click and disabling Flash hardware acceleration.
