Commodore 64 Setup

Going through the C64 guides on youtube and I have winvice launching from Rocketlauncher.

The question is now,  what is the best wa to get the games into the system and the appropriate rom?

I see the version 2.2 database in the system but the ROMS are names something like 2AEC8D1B and not "Summer Games"
The rom set I have (c64 dreams) is all the actual names?


Any best practices for getting this thing set up with games?

I am not familiar with C64 dreams, and not sure if I understand exactly what you mean here, but the roms need to be named the same as the text in quotes between game name in the XML. 2AEC8D1B, the code you mentioned, seems to be the CRC of the rom, which has no real value for the game to load in HS.

Thanks Torden. I mispoke, Indeed the game name must match the zip file. Thanks for that correction...

WHat I should have asked is if anyone knows a torrent set that matches up with the 2.2 Database or similar.
