dsnyd22
So I see all these cool jukeboxes in peoples cabs and i want some but of course i have a dilemma. All my songs are in google play which are stored in a cloud. Google play lets you access and play songs from any laptop or mobile device so I dont actually have hard copies of any songs. I have the ability to download them back to a hard drive if i need to, but i wanted to see if there is anyway to make this work without doing this. ANy ideas would be helpful. If downloading them back to a hard drive is what i need to do then so be it, but would love to not have to do this.
mrxtreme
I have google play as well and i thought about setting that up or trying to at least... im guessing if hyperspin can be set to open up a webpage or somehow play the stream content be cool, Giga told me that he uses XBMC and ive seen other software out there so im kinda stuck on this as well. Now people ask me why turn an arcade cabinet into a jukebox and I just like to say its because it has some massive speakers inside with a subwoofer that would be a great jukebox So I see all these cool jukeboxes in peoples cabs and i want some but of course i have a dilemma. jq_quint
Hi Dsnyd22, I am looking at doing the same thing with my latest build...Originally I was also going the XBMC route as thats my preferred movie driver (running through a raspberry Pi), but since being introduced to spotify I have now added a spotify wheel to my hyperspin and this opens through hyperspin as an .exe. As my machine is touch screen I just need to sort out the launching of a touch screen tablet also. Just thought i'd chime in with my take on i guess the same outcome that your after.. dsnyd22
spotify... now theres a good idea.. i have the most random wheel ever so that would go well with mine. I have most systems, I have a showbiz pizza theme that someone made on the forum for arcade games, i have nintendo power sections for nintendo mags, have a movie section and xbmc section. so lots of people ask me the same as to why i would want that in my cab but for now i mostly play it on big flatscreen so its not bad. probably will remove the movies when i put it in an actual cabinet. sandman7793
I'll give you guys a guide I created for setting up a complete working xbmc setup. Once you get used to it you can change some theming to a little more complicated setup. This is for people that would like to have the music and movies. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9rcss318hja9ka1/XBMC%20Setup%20Guide.docx Sent from my SM-N900A using Tapatalk

sandman7793
Thank you, very helpful Once you get used to it, I can give you a little more complicated one with a nice transparent theme, with 3d capability without a 3d TV. C.riley
Is there a way to set Jukebox Arcade main menu wheel to play more than one video. It really get's old when the same video plays over and over in the main wheel?
