Bliss-Box

Hello Hyperspiner’s. I am fairly new to retro gaming. I recently came across a video about Bliss-Box and would like to know if anyone has used this device with there Hyperspin system?Does this device automatically map button presses for different emulators with out having to set up joytokey profiles?

For example if I launched Sega Genesis and then launched a Sega Genesis rom with Bliss-Box hooked up to a Genesis game pad would it automatically recognize the game pad with out having to set up a joytokey profile?

I have been having an awful time mapping my controllers for the different emulators in rocket Launcher.

I have a bliss-box and can tell you that your experience will be pretty 'unmatched' if you're looking for that authentic retro experience. Support is good for it on the discord community forum. ...as far as "automatically" mapping buttons goes....eh, it depends on how you set it up, but for the most part, the configuration is minimal. There are a few controllers that have 'tricks' to them to get them to work...Genesis isn't one of them, it's plug n play.
There is a 'reset' button that you have to press on the box after plugging a controller in to to signal to windows what type of controller is plugged into the box (this is the nutshell version of explaining it). It takes some ingenuity, but if you want you can add a hyperspin wheel function to reset the box via software and a script,  Planet Geekdom made a good youtube video about how to do this ,All in all, yes, couldn't recommend getting a bliss-box enough. Totally worth it.
