mosesman
I have HyperSPin 1.3.2.0 connected to a non-analog joystick. Tried all threshold settings. Tried all wheel speed settings. Works great with the games, but if I try to use it to control the spin and selection of the games, the wheel just keeps spinning. I set the speed to slow, but it just keeps spinning. How can this whee be controlled with a joystick? What exactly is the problem?
Agrajag
There's a known bug in HyperSpin - it can only be controlled with a keyboard or simulation thereof. You will need to disable joystick, spinner and trackball in HyperHQ, configure the appropriate keys and use a keymapper (e.g. Xpadder or Joy To Key) to convert your joystick and buttons to keypresses. Have a search on the forum for more info about this as there have been lots of other threads about it.
mosesman
Will there be any updates to fix this issue or is this software no longer supported?
Agrajag
Big Bad Bill (the author of the main HyperSpin program) is apparently not working on it at the moment so there's no update expected any time soon, if ever. However there are several other people who develop the add-ons (such as HyperLaunch, HyperMarquee etc) that continue to add amazing features in his absence. sandman7793
Will there be any updates to fix this issue or is this software no longer supported? Back when hyperspin updates was being talked about, he spook of removing joystick support all together. There's other viable options for joystick management anyways. Bad Boy Billy is not active on here. So just grab xpadder or setup ahk. Sent from my SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Nocturnaloner
For anyone looking for an answer to this, just use the free version of JoyToKey: http://joytokey.net/en/download, and map your joystick movements to the arrow keys. That's it. It works for Ultrastik 360s, gamepads, and analog joysticks.
