Mame 0.114b Space Invader

Hi All

This might sound like a strange request and I have been searching for this for a while but no joy! I have always had an issue with the newer mame version of space invaders. The sound is not how I use to remember when I was a kid. The newer mame has Midway sounds which is different to Taito and I want to use the old sound sample version of mame which was 0.114b but I can't find a no-nag, hi-score version. I tried to compile but get lots of errors when using MC64 and MinGW.  Happy to compile but need help, like a proper tutorial and link to software that can compile with ease! Or even better, someone who just happen to have this no-nag version for me to use!

Thank you for the link to 0.139 but using this version of Space Invaders does not use the sound sample and has the Midway sound.

Several versions of the game in 0.139 use samples. Check them out - one might be what you're looking for.

I prefer the original white invaders with the green shields version that use the invaders rom. Any mame version after 0.114b stopped using the sound sample.
