The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Hello friends.

After a 21 year hiatus I've been building my new cabinet system which will be going on mame-arcade.com as an update to the old 21 year old website. Previously I used the guts of an X-Arcade to build my first arcade cabinet. This go around I have built it with an Ultimarc Ultimate I/O with 4-players with RGB buttons and thick polycarbonate to throw the glow from them further. There are a lot more software toys this go around naturally and it's a little overwhelming. I used an earlier version of HyperSpin 12 years or so ago on that cabinet: https://mame-arcade.com/images/Ver3/716958_10151295094018664_20026_n.mp4 previously and it was pretty cake as the X-Arcade configuration was already setup. In the new four player build, I've pulled HyperSpin Attraction, Blinky LED (paid), Rocket Launcher, Joy2Pad, but of course players 3,4 and added side buttons, although connected are not optimally configured. I suppose I am lost at what mappings I should be setting the joystick buttons to keys for the easiest configuration across the board between all the software products. I have players 1 and 2 working great but an issue I immediately am seeing is it appears there is a key combination on the player 2 buttons which is shifting HyperSpin to the foreground while a game is playing. This new project has taken far too long than I expected, because I am OCD as all hell and wanted this Mark II version to look professional so at this point, I am happy to pay for someone's pizza to guide me through this as I approach the finish line. I'd like to get players 3, 4 going, map the 2nd left side button to be a shift, left front to left flipper, right front for right flipper, and right back to left mouse click so the trackball can be functional in the OS if needed. Those four buttons on the sides are using 1a,2a,1b,2b. Thank you!

Per the notice when you first enter this forum: "The confusingly-named Hyperspin Attraction is for the Attract-Mode frontend, not HyperSpin. Please direct your support questions to those who created it."
