Pairing a second controller

So when i boot up my pc and i make sure I have 2 controllers paired to it. I start up hyperspin attraction and go to a two-player game the second controller won't work. I need any and all types of suggestions and help with this. I am using an 8bitdo controller and an Bluetooth controller
