How to start Hyperspin in MAME Genre?

Can Hyperspin be configured to start in MAME Genre simlilar to starting in Favorites?

i think no

favorites option is in navigation segment and i see no other genre like option:

jump_timer=400

remove_info_text=false

use_last_game=true

start_on_favorites=false

but since every genre in hs 1.0 is independent you can pick any genre that you want and put it under "all games", and move all games to something else.

So you just take your genre xml and rename it to all games.xml, put your genre wheel image in all games.png and put your genre background in backgrounds folder.

And you will have your genre on boot - i had it this way with lashek's greatest hits xml.

It is not even a real genre and i used it as starting xml for mame.

now even only 1500 games is too much so i just use start on favorites option

actually yes it can open up hyperhq and select single mode and in the drop down menu make sure mame is selected.

how do you hide the genre information when in MAME list please?

eg it flashes up in big letters "Genre - All Games", I'd like to turn this off if possible?
