Main Menu not loading into sub-menus (system game lists)

I'll start this off with this emote:

I have copied all files over from my main computer (PC1), which everything works fine on, to another computer (PC2). The setup is nearly identical, with drive letters and Hyperspin settings the same between both systems. Again, PC1 works fine, but on PC2, when HyperSpin is on the main menu (system select), if I press ENTER to load into any of the sub-menus to view the selected system's game library, the Main Menu just reloads itself instead of going into the game selection menu.

I'm truly at a loss for what is going on. Again, all settings are identical between both machines. The only difference between them is the underlying hardware (which shouldn't make any difference in this case), and the resolution on PC2 is set differently to accommodate the different monitor resolution (which also shouldn't make any difference in this case).

Any thoughts? Help would be greatly appreciated!

Typically 2 issues:

No sound output device such as speakers or headphones plugged in.

OR

You have a filter such as roms_only checked and forgot to fix/correct the paths in HyperHQ.
