Upon further inspection and the amount of things I am going to put into it, even a bartop will be a heavy monster.... My thought is.....I have an empty mortal kombat 2 cab that I was going to save for another project. I do not want to use the 25 inch crt monitor that is in the cab...what I really want to use is the 32 inch led tv I have collecting dust in my basement. Here is the issue...The tv un cased is 27 inches wide....which is the width of the cab I have thought about expanding the top of the cab by adding 2 extra panels to the sides then cutting the original frame to mount the tv. Has anyone here done anything like this? Pros/cons?
HazzardActual Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 you could do it like a golden tee cab. its got a little funky panel(the white panels) that is just for show. you could notch out what you need for your lcd and then cover up the exposed parts with a piece of mdf.
