issue using 2 controllers

Hi guys I am trying to put 2 controllers on my emulators a Xbox 360 and a PS3 controller. I am using ScpServer for the PS3 to trick it into thinking its another Xbox controller but the thing is when I set them up and close and restart the emulator its all screwed up and only binding to the 1 controller. It also happens if my misses does the house work and unplugs the controllers any ideas for a fix?

I did the same and bought a wireless receiver

It can handle 4 controllers

Usings scp on a different pc with one controller

mine are wired I need to find a way of renaming the controllers I think scp is really good its motion joy drivers without the Malware I think. I would go wireless but cant justify paying the amount for them when there are next gen consoles out.
