Hyperspin doesn't open emulators

Hi!

I have a problem with my HS system. My Hyperspin starts normally and I can see all my emulators in the main wheel and navigate with the arrow keys. Only when I want to open for example Mame (using the Enter key), the wheel jumps to the emulator the HS indicates when starting HS.

I cannot shut down HS with the Esc key. When I press Esc, the main menu freezes. After pressing Esc again HS continues.

I have already selected other buttons for "Start" or "Exit" in HyperHQ. It is the same problem.

Furthermore, I copied the Hyperspin folder to another PC and there everything works fine.

I have already tried a different keyboard - no change.

To me it seems as if Windows could be the problem. But both PC's have Windows 7 64bit.

Can anyone give me a hint what I can try so I can eliminate the problem?

Hi jimbill. My guess is you need to plug in some speakers. Please click the link in my sig for known bugs then report back.

Thanks for your help. The speakers have been the problem. I plugged them in and everything worked fine. What a simple but effective solution ....
