What would you do for MAME and xbox 360 bartop?

I'm trying to decide if I should do an all in one or do two bartop cabs. Both for 2 players.

I would like to use MAME and arcade games from Xbox 360 with HyperSpin front end.

+Positives For all in one

Save space

Cheaper

-Negatives For all in one

More complicated setup. Not sure how to switch control panel or how to turn on/off each device.

Have to use wide screen for MAME portion. Maybe this isn't bad if there's artwork on sides.

What I have already.

Small i5 ITX pc w nvidia 430 video card. Newer Xbox 360

23" widescreen monitor with 2 hdmi inputs. Sound comes out monitor to amp and speakers.

x-arcade with xbox 360 adapter

I also have a 20" Dell 4:3 monitor if I do separate cabs.

I am going to take apart the xbox and use different cooling because it's too loud as it is. All games are already downloaded so I don't need the dvd drive.

Has anyone done an all-in-one and regretted it, as I'm leaning towards this option?

If I need a new CP please recommend parts.

Thank you in advance.

Do both systems justice and let them run on the display device they are intended to run on. Putting an X360 into a cab takes away the majesty of big screen HD gaming. While putting MAME in a cab is making all those old games come alive again (especially if you use HLSL settings in MAME and the bezels in HyperLaunch). Putting an X360 doesn't have anywhere near the cool factor a HyperSpin machine has with 1000's of games in a cab does. I'd just do one bartop because I don't really see the appeal of playing HD games on a small screen. You can always build your cab to be able to flexible enough to take the input from an X360. It will also afford you the flexiblity to still connect your X360 to an HDTV easily.

As for controls, that is easily resolved if you use the PS360+ PCB. It's the standard controller board that all the fighting game experts use.
