Are the capitalisations the same? A screen of your HyperSpin folder may help too.

I select the folder where HyperLaunch HQ is located and receive "Cannot find a valid HyperLaunch.exe on the selected folder,program will close.

Are you selecting the HyperLaunch HQ folder or the HyperLaunch folder? HyperLaunch.exe is in the HyperLaunch folder, not the HyperLaunch HQ folder.
