sturose Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Ok this is driving me nuts now I've been using hyperspin for a few years now on my shield. I can play all games from every system except psp. When I attempt to launch a psp rom I get "could not load game. File is empty" in ppsspp. If I launch the same rom directly from ppsspp it opens fine! I have checked filenames and rom paths to ensure they are correct and they are. Case sensitivity checked as well. Can anyone offer any guidance at all on this? It'll probably be something ridiculously silly that I'm missing but I am stuck. I'm using a nvidia shield as mentioned. I have recently upgraded to a new version of hyperspin. Ppsspp version is v1.20.4 and I'm running my roms from an external usb hard drive which I know can be problematic but all the other systems work fine, it's literally just psp games. EDIT: Never mind guys. I just found via another thread (after searching a lot) about the hidden menu in hyperspin to configure rim paths. It was set for one level above the actual rom folder for some strange reason. I'll leave this here though in case I'm not the only one with this problem 1
