illcoolz Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Hi guys! I am really happy to be on these forums, because I decided to try and make my own HyperSpin project. But before I go out and build a machine, I was wondering if my 2010 MacBook Pro will be capable of running HyperSpin. It's specs are as follow: Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.53 Ghz. 4 GB of Ram, an NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB graphics card. If I setup Windows 7 on Bootcamp, would these specs be able to run the software, with the animations and the videos going on? Thanks a lot!
MacklinB Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 More than capable. I wouldn't worry about it, HS isn't very demanding. As for emulation; MAME and early consoles will be just fine - later CD-based consoles might run a little choppy (but even the best computers don't make emulation any better). But for setting up HS this will do just fine.
