My HS Cabinet

Hey there,

Just want to show you my cabinet, working still in progress.

Origin: Magnum Hitech Uni. Cabinet

What did i do:

- The Orginal Screen was broken so i had to remove it

- Mounting a 19" TFT and cuting a new bezel

- The original Controlpanel is a steel one with an terrible layout so i decide to build a new one out of wood with an japanise standart layout

- PC and Emulation HS programming

- lamination with black sheet of the cabinet it self

- new marquee from gameongrafix lighted it up with LEDs

- cut and drill black plexi for the controlpanel

- mounting and wire of new LED Pushbuttons and two Seimitsu LS32 Joysticks

So what should i do with the sideart ?

Something minimalistic would be nice.

So what looks clean for the sides you ask?

I would stick with some simpe white or silver striping...

Also I would have chosen a different MAME marquee, one without the heavily colored background.

As a big fan of The Neo Geo Games i decide to make a Neo Geo Black Edition Cabinet. Marquee drawings almost ready .. almost.

-Minimarquee is repainted to Hyperspin but iam not sure with the backround in it. What you see is only a test backround . Did any one have a suggestion ?

-Sideart is in my mind allready but not painted. Standart MVS Logos with red stripes and a SNK Character.
