Help needed editing Mednafen.ahk?

I don't see many of the options in the Mednafen.ahk that are in the MedGui, and would like to launch Turbo Graphx 16 through Hyperlaunch, with my MedGui settings. Does anyone know how to edit the .ahk to match the settings in the MedGui?

Does anybody edit the Mednafen.ahk for parameters that aren't basic? I know that there are other params in the mednafen docs, I just don't know how to add them to the .ahk correctly. I mostly want to add filters and shaders. If anyone could post an example of how to do this for Turbo Graphx 16 it would be greatly appreciated.

This seems over my head because you're talking about altering the module... but in terms of shaders, all you have to do is open the mednafen config, do a "find" search for what you want to change and change it there. I use mednafen without the medgui, and the shaders work fine. Once changed in the mednafen config, hyperlaunch will launch it with those settings.

http://mednafen.sourceforge.net/documentation/pce.html

Go here and search "pixshader" and you'll see all the options.

So for example in the mednafen config find the line "pce.pixshader none" (Its none by default) and change it to "pce.pixshader sabr" for example. Hope it helps.

I tried using the MedGUI (1.99996), and Mednafen (0.9.36.5-win64) did launch w/ GUI settings outside of HS, but not w/ HS and HL. It looked like the module had taken priority over the mednafen-09x.cfg. Have you experienced any of this? So far I have been unable to launch Mednafen through HL w/ the GUI settings, any suggestions? Am I using the same versions as you?

I don't think that the HL module touches shaders. I run 09364, but I doubt there's that much of a difference. I don't think any of the GUIs for Mednafen are official. I'm guessing here, but I wonder if the GUI stores the information somewhere else - not in the mednafen config. There shouldn't be any gui options that you can't get by just altering the config itself, so my advice is try a fresh install without the gui, and edit the config manually. The GUIs are meant to make life easier, but in this case, it seems its making it harder as I haven't had any problems like this. I just change the config manually and when Hyperlaunch launches a game, those changes are there.
