I have downloaded the preconfigured hyperspin project torrent that was floating around. The whole setup seems to be based off version 1.0. Can I upgrade to the newest release and still keep the packaged wheels, settings, and video previews? If not what is the best way for me to get current but retain the artwork and such from this existing setup?

I did this and all still works. I even added .mp4 videos to the .flv ones I already had. Just rename your current folder, and install everything fresh, then move your media and database folders to the new install (and any other folders of importance ex: emulators/roms).

I downloaded it as well but ended up only using few things from it. I ended up getting platinum membership and use hypersync and emumovies now. Worth it.

keep the media folders and databases if you want then start from scratch. otherwise you may run into issues trying to run hyperspeech and other programs. I know i did the same thing.
