Using XML Indexes makes sub-wheel goes black

Sooo... I'm setting some not-default systems, I had no problem making the XML for the first one (and using XML Indexes for its sub-wheel), but for the second one, for some strange reason, I can't use XML Indexes Oo

The wheel works fines if I don't check the "Use XML Indexes" box, so it's not a problem in the XML itself (also I'm using a XML editor to make sure I don't forget tags open and misplace/mispell stuff)... I have no idea why I get that black screen and have to close HyperSpin using Alt F4 if I check that box, it's model is the same I used for the other system and it works perfectly there, I think there is no problem in that (since works in the other sub-wheel), but here is what I'm using anyway:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<menu>
  <game name="Game Name">
      <description>Game Name</description>
      <cloneof></cloneof>
      <crc></crc>
      <manufacturer></manufacturer>
      <year></year>
      <genre></genre>
  </game>
</menu>

Again, the sub-wheel works if I do not set to use XML Indexes... why it does not work when I set it?

Having the same issue and havent found a solution. Did you happen to solve it? I placed my Mame XML in order that I wanted, not specifically alphabetically, but rather keeping the sequels to games next to the originals (Pac Man, MsPacMan, etc) and no matter which I check its always the same problem.

Okay, I figured it out for whomever this happens to. If you edit your XML in MS Excel, it removes the index="" image="" after the gamename at the top of each XML entry. Hyperspin doesnt see that working if you use XML indexes. Since I have a OCD thing, I need my games to be in the order I designated, and had to make this work.

You should have index="" image="" for EVERY game in your XML, and only 26 of them should read "true" with a letter for image. Hope this helps!
