baddeolv
please give me more details. it shouldnt be adding any themes for clones...it doesnt work that way, unless a clone had its own theme created, which is very rare. What games are you referring to?
Obizues
It isn't adding any themes for the clones. When I am using hyperspin I can see that it doesn't give the clones themes. However, it's showing all of the roms including the clones- and the way I worked past that issue before was using Dom's Hyperlist which ignored them. Is there any way to only make an xml list without the clones, but keeping in the markup for the new theme elements?

iNTiGOD
No one? I'd love to help. Are you saying you want to remove clones from the xml? That can be done via dons tools (you have more control this way as there are cases where you want to keep a clone version eg. Pacman). If you need help with that let us know. You could also use romlister for xml editing. Lastly if you don't want to fiddle with your xml you could simply you can use hyperspin to filter out clones: Launch HyperHQ and go to Wheel Settings -> Navigation/Themes -> click Parents Only check box. The option I have taken is to use an xml without mahjong and adult games but I keep the clones in. I have a favorite wheel with all the games I want. This way there isn't too much involved when I update mame versions.
reznnate
or just set the filter in the mame.ini to themes only (true)
