millansoft Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Hello, I was trying to add this system to my HyperSpin, and I found that it works with MESS 0.112 but after that version it doesnt work anymore (at least for me), anyone could make it work with the last MESS (0.160)? Thanks!
silverfox0786 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I have it working with MESS 160 just fine in fact I started using it with 160 and it worked off the bat are you syncing with HyperSync to parse in the correct database files and everything I didn't have to do anything special to make it work just make sure that your emulator is pointing to MESS and that your Roms is pointing to correct rom location and read the MESS AHK file in npp++ as it has a few things in there you need to do to make MESS work in the first place

Same problem for me! with hs1.4 can only get mess to run the rom but shows the same as above millansoft2s setup (tried emma 02 emu and it works outside of hs/hl but get error when running through hl using lates version of emu). Can anyone help? Cheers
Jared1977 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 figured i would give it a try and help you guys out. My mess has same issue as well so I went to emma 02 V1.18. V1.2 will not work. Ran great outside of hyperspin but in it gave me 2 errors. One couldnt find rom. Fixed this by running emma 02 outside hyperspin and clicking on the rom tab as if to change it. File comes up and copy it. next go to your emma 02 foler with emulator and go into your data folder. create another folder called "studio2". Paste your rom you just copied into there. Now game should come up fine. I have additional error message come up here. Its looking for the keydefinition.txt file in the data folder to open and cant. go to your search in windows in your start menu and type "%APPDATA%\Emma 02" and look for a text file called "keydefinitions". Simply copy this file and go back to your emma 02 folder, go inot the data folder and past. You are now 100 percent working. enjoy
