annomatik Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Hi guys, a slightly off-topic question to you all... I'd like to index the console games (and also my Vinyls, but that's a separate topic I guess) I own so I can have an overview of the games on the go. For example, when going to a swap-meet, I'd like to just take my android phone and see at a glance, if I have the game I'm interested or not. Currently, I have mainly four systems: - Playstation 1 - Playstation 2 - Xbox 360 - Nintendo DS it would be handy, if the app had some sort of Windows-interface as well, as I can type faster on a PC than on my Android mobile phone (maybe with a web-interface? maybe the app would be cloud-based?). Also, I'd like to be able to export the games I have in some sort of CSV format, in case the developer decides to no longer update the app and there's something better out there. It would be nice to have some sort of auto-fill features like automatic cover download, etc. Any ideas? Is, for example, GameKeeper any good (it seems to have quite negative reviews on the app store)? Thank you!
Agrajag Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 I use HanDBase on Windows and Android. No automatic cover downloading or cloud but it does everything else you mentioned. HyperSpin behaving oddly? annomatik Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 Thanks! I have entered my Xbox 360 games in GameKeeper for now. It works, has a big game database including covers, but it does not have Cloud-Sync. It likes to crash, can be optimized usability wise (things take a lot of taps) but otherwise works nicely. I think, an improved GameKeeper version would be perfect for my needs but I can live with it for now.
