Deafult emulator list blank?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and to hyperspin

 

I've this probelm, there's no default emulator found and I don't understand what I do wrong. Can you help me?

Welcome zazi. can you post abit more info pls. which system are you working on or trying to get running? what emulator is not found or showing up? is the emulator, and modules, on your global list that your trying to setup? You can edit the module to add a system(wheel) to a supported emulator under Msystem=" "  "but not recommended if your not sure".  post a bit more info, hopefully someone will get back to you soon

I was just thinking too if it is completely blank after you updated, there is a few settings need to be changed in HyperLaunch, under the HyperlaunchHQ tab then to frontends. Gigapig from the forums here covers that in one of his videos. maybe check out one or two of his tutorial vid's on youtube. hope you get setup, but like I said a bit more info will help

Hi dubbloseven, thank you so much for the answer, I'm italian and I hope my english is understandable. I "come from" maximus arcade, but in my opinion hyperspin is much more beautiful so now I'm trying to configure it. To be honest I don't know exactly how to start because I don't find a simple guide in italian,so I've tried with this guide http://gameroomsolutions.com/setup-hyperspin-mame-hyperlaunch-full-guide/ . I've downloaded a pack  from a link in a youtube video with hyperspin,hyperlunchHQ,hyperHQ,Hyperlunch and Hypertheme and then I've tried to follow the guide and to install MAME. In the global menu in hyperlunchHQ I've added a new emulator that is mameUI32, I've called it MAME then i've set the path of the .exe. At this point I moved to MAME menu, I've set the rom's path and then when I press on the button of default emulator the list is blank. Moreover I don't know the function of modules...

I don't know why when I open a page in this forum from external link I'm redirected to the home page..and in the search bar i don't find the videos of gigapig.

I would find some of the tutorials to help you set it up properly and learn more about setup. once your past the learning curve of setup, its not too difficult to figure out from there. If your familiar with other frontends, that'll help. also, did you download hyperspin in a youtube link?? download that from this site and rocketlauncher and start with a fresh install (find the right tutorials easy for you to understand) ,..... update and go from there. you'll find plenty of info/help on these forums; and the youtube vids are definitely available (though im not sure in Italian). best of luck getting up and running zazi.

Glad to hear that zazi. you may run into a few bumps in the road, but lots of answers and help are posted up on the forums here. If you really get hung up on a few things, set it down and come back to it, if you can. It all comes together the more you dive in. Keep plugging away. have fun.
