Hyperspin and HyperLaunchHQ, certain button combinations exit me out of a game

Hey guys!

 

I Got hyperspin, MAME, and HyperlaunchHQ all set up and working! Fairly quickly thanks to a guide i found. 

 

I am just having one game breaking issue with the controls. I am using all the latest versions of each and i am using an X arcade control stick. I also have disabled all hot keys and shift sticky. 

 

My problem is as followed

 

 

1- I load up hyperspin

2- Choose the game i want and hit enter(both keyboard and joystick work)

3- Loads game and i can play fine

4- BUT A Certain button combination on the Player 2 side, I can't figure it out what exactly,  exits out of MAME and minimizes it and sends me back to the hyperspin menu wheel

5- I can move around the wheel but i can't select anything to play. I can hit esc and it will exit me out of hyperspin like normal.

6- And then i see MAME in my toolbar minimized. I can click on it and it will be the same game i was just playing as it never stopped playing in the first place


so something is minimizing MAME and sending me back to hyperspin. I have tried hitting Esc on the keyboard to see if it does the same thing and it doesn't. It closes completely out of the game and takes me back to hyperspin, and then i can select another game i want to play like it is supposed to do.

 

Also i noticed this issue is only when i launch a game through HyperLaunchHQ and Hyperspin. If i just load up MAME on it's own, this issue does not happen to me. 

So something i am hitting is pressing a function that minimizes MAME for some reason???

 

I have tried pressing each individual button and can't replicate it. I have tried pressing them all at once, still can't replicate it. The only way it happens is when i button mash on the second player buttons. They are mapped to these keyboard buttons if this helps. A,S,Q,W,E,[,],6.

 

I tried changing the button layout in HyperHQ but it still does it. 

 

 

Anyone have any idea

check the Exit Script Key in HyperLaunch.  usuall set to Q & S.  I believe that will close it out also. try M & N keys or whichever you like that are not mapped.
