I am having troubles with my music for the Sega CD.

I can hear the audio and sound effects fine and they work, but I don't hear the music for the game.

For Example : Sonic CD

When I go into the stage I don't hear any music but if I collect rings or I jump I can hear it perfectly.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem with music please tell me down below.

You need to include the cue files alongside the bin files if I'm not mistaken. I believe those are where the music comes in. I'm having a similar but different problem myself. All my Sega CD games boot up perfectly fine without cue files, but when I include them, it takes me straight the the cd player.

You are a genius. That solved my problem, and I suspect that should solve hiimjays problem as well. I can't believe the solution was that simple. Thank you!

Does the bin and cue file have to have the same names?

I would assume yes.

Lol, I don't think I'm a genius, but I'm glad it solved your problem. For the naming, no need to have the same name. If your hyperspin settings point to the cue file, this cue file had to be named according to the database. And then, it can point to your bin file (you can put this bin file in another folder, with another name). But to be more readable, it's better to name the two files with the same name, and to let them in the same directory. A relative path is better in your cue file, so if you copy/paste your game in another directory, you don't have to edit the cue file again.
