HI guys,

I have had a search around and I'm struggling to find the answer.

ok, so I'm trying to make changes to my setup, but I cant figure out how to keep the console names on top of everything, and when on a wheel, I cant keep the game list on top of the artwork (the games end up obscured)

I am using the horizontal position for the consoles and games...

any ideas??

thanks

You might want to be more specific. Your description sounds very much about a specific default? theme. Maybe post a screenshot, will probably help a lot.

Themes have the following artwork layer structure:

in order from top to bottom:

  • Game description
  • Special art (joysticks etc)
  • Artwork4
  • Artwork3
  • Artwork2
  • Video border
  • Video
  • Artwork1
  • Wheel
  • Pointer
  • Background

You can move the Artwork1-4 layers around by editing the theme zip, other than that, you're basically stuck with how it is.

If artwork is covering up the wheel or overlapping it, you basically need to either adjust the wheel or move the artwork around, adjust it's size or even delete some.

Special art can be removed

Game description text can be removed

Pointer can be removed

Wheel transparency can be adjusted between fading to 0% to not fading at all

no that's it, you've answered my question! Sorry for the vagueness, but ill try what you say and if that doesn't work, feedback with a bit more clarity.

I didn't know that the artwork was displayed in a certain order, but that order can be changed by editing as you suggest so I am going to try that, thanks very much!!

just had a very quick look, yes I can see the theme xml and the order and it mostly covers what I need to change, so again, thanks very much!
