amrathe
Back when I was using Hyperspin 1.2 I set my monitor to blank off after 90 minutes of no input to save on wear-and-tear of the monitor hardware (set it in the Windows 7 Power Management Control Panel). It obviously worked as expected, and the monitor would go into power save mode if the Arcade sat idle for 90 minutes or more. After upgrading to Hyperspin 1.3 the monitor no longer enters power save mode while Hyperspin is running (it will enter power save if I have hyperspin closed). Was something added to Hyperspin 1.3 that is generating hidden user input that could be causing this? It only fails to sleep while I have Hyperspin 1.3 running (and did sleep when Hyperspin 1.2 was running). Thanks
technabob
I've got the same problem. I'd like my machine to go to sleep after 30 minutes of non-use, and despite windows 7 power saving being set this way, it appears that Hyperspin overrides this setting. Any ideas? paulio23
Anyone ever figure this out? My machine just stays on forever making noise and Windows 7 won't sleep if Hyperspin is running.
Jumpstile
I believe it may have something to do with a USB device. Try unplugging all USB devices and see if it sleeps. I know that's the reason mine never goes to sleep... - J*
