PC Games Wheel doesn't show (brings back to Main Menu)

Hello everybody

 

I followed "GIga Guide's" instructions on youtube to set up my PC wheel. I added one game and can launch it fine through the PC Launcher module Settings. When I audit the games in HyperlaunchHQ it doesn't show up, but I can run them as well. I set "Skip CHeck" to "Rom and Emu" and played around with the "PC Game" Setting in HyperHQ. Also I added PC Launcher in the tab "Emulators" in HyperLaunchHQ with lnk as extension and a romdir with the shortcut to the game, not just using the global PC Launcher profile like in the video. My audit still doesn't find them though. As a last resort I added the game under "alternate Emulators" but they still didn't show up in audit or solve my main problem.

 

The games not showing up in audit actually wouldn't be a problem, my problem is that if I launch HyperSpin and wanna go into my "PC Games" wheel it just doesn't load the wheel and goes back straight to main menu. At first I thought it might be because there is no default theme for pc games. So I copied the default theme of another system into the PC Games media folder but still nothing. Then I thought there might be something wrong with my Database, so I made a new Hyperlist like in the video and made sure to make no changes to it.

 

I think the problem might be because I might have set the option, if there is one, to ignore unmatched roms. I looked for the setting but couldn't find it anywhere so I would be glad if someone could point me in the right direction or if anyone has any other ideas why my wheel won't load.

What file extension are there for pclauncher in global emulator ini file? Is the Ink file included there?

thanks for the hint, there was indeed no entry in the global emulator.ini.Anyway I noticed that I didn't change default emulator in HyperLaunchHQ from global to the one I created. So I left the global emulator.ini as it was and changed the default emulator instead.

Now my Game would match in audit but the PC games wheel still wouldn't launch. I removed the <xml> and </xml> tags from my PC Games.xml and afterwards it worked. At least I think that's what did it.

 

Now there's another error when launching the game, but it's probably related to the PC Launcher game specific settings so as far as I'm concerned this topic is solved.
