  1. What do you do when the game title differs from the way it's written on the box and the title or loading screen. For example, for the Amstrad GX4000, the game Tennis Cup has an arabic numeral on the box cover 'Tennis Cup 2', but when loaded, it features the title with Roman numeral 'Tennis Cup II'. I have noticed the site artwork (wheel) uses the box art. On the XML a 2 is also used, but because XMLs can easily be edited, I kinda prefer to have it listed the way you see it on the actual game. Would be interested to know what others prefer.
  2. There are systems like MAME where there is obviously no box or cartridge artwork available and for those I prefer to have a game theme for the respective games. But, let's say, for a system like the SNES where both are available, do you prefer to have the box/cartridge artwork being shown on Hyperspin, or do you also prefer a game theme, as both cannot be shown at the same time. Personally, I prefer game themes, although a lot of times they are not available for all games and I end up with systems mixing both.
  3. I don't see the Atari Jaguar CD on anyone's list, although I wouldn't be surprised if it is because it can't be properly emulated yet.
  4. Using MESS for everything but the gun games; for those I'm using EMU7800. Those changes really improved the emulation.
  5. Hi, I updated Hyperlaunch but still have the same problem. Game starts fine but still get the above error message after about 30 seconds. I have included the log. Hope this is the right one.   6. Hi, thanks for reply. Took a look at what you posted and I have the same emulator and module but the HyperLaunch version is v3.0.0.9. Emulator is also pointed to the right exe. HyperSpin is v1.3.2.0 with update pack and for HyperLaunchHQ v.1.0.13.0. Is there a way to download the update for HyperLaunch v3.0.1.1. I tried to find it but it seems it's only possible with the GIT program. My problem is that I use a computer to download all the stuff, but then I port that to one without internet connection, so I only have HyperSpin and co. installed in the Internet-less computer. I will also try to post the HyperLaunch log asap, but as I mentioned, I have to bring it from one computer to the other. Will do it when I have some more free time.
  7. I'm using ParaJVE 0.7.0. When launching the games outside of Hyperspin they work fine, but when using Hyperlaunch, all games do start, but after about 30 seconds I get the following error message: There was an error waiting for the window "ParaJVEahk_class SunAwtFrame" I'm using Java Runtime Environment 1.5.0+ and the official Hyperlist database. Any ideas what's wrong?
  8. I'm using Windows XP. For Commando I'm using MESS and I get music during the intro and during the game.

I discovered Hyperspin last year, installed it, signed up for this site and Emumovies and started configuring different emulators and options, For certain reasons, among them the computer breaking, I abandoned the program for almost a year. But recently I read about RocketLauncher and the option of selecting an alternate emulator for certain games and decided to start from scratch. I also read about MESS being able to emulate the Atari 7800 much better than before and many people preferring it now to ProSystem So, this weekend, after two or three clean installs and many hours of tutorials reading and watching, I managed to get Hyperspin, Hyperlaunch and HyperlaunchHQ working correctly. I also managed to set up the Atari 7800 emulation. I now have MESS as the preferred emulator for all 7800 games but Barnyard Blaster, Sentinel and Impossible Mission (light gun games and IM being only completely playable in the PAL version). For those three games I use EMU7800. I haven't had much time to try all games, so I was wondering if some people knew of other games that work better in one or the other emulator. As I said before, gun games wouldn't work on ProSystem, but Kung Fu Master wouldn't work on EMU7800. Tower Toppler would have issues on both, but now seems running OK on MESS. So, anyone has similar experiences with the other 7800 games and the three emulators and could share them so that I can configure the respective games to the emulator that works best with them?
