For those nostalgic for this great movie (myself included) "Cavern of the Evil Wizard" wasn't originally a real game, but a text adventure game with mock graphics created specifically for the opening scene of the 1988 film Big, starring Tom Hanks. In the movie, the young protagonist, Josh Baskin, is playing this game on his computer. The screen shown is static, and the dialogue is part of the script, not actual gameplay. The scene features the famous puzzle of how to melt the ice wizard. Due to nostalgia and fan interest, several people and developers have created playable versions of the game, inspired by the original film. You can find fan-created playable versions online that recreate the experience of the text game with 80s-style graphics:
