  1. No editing is required to hide the boot screen - just open msconfig, go to the boot tab, and there's a "No GUI Boot" option that you can tick if I remember correctly. That's all that should be needed to hide it.
  2. Hey saw your comment on youtube. I haven't visited the forums in awhile, but wanted to say thanks for the kudos! The build is looking good. For advice on the boot splash animation, why not just hide the Windows 7 boot screen altogether? That's what I ended up doing.
