I have simialar problems. I have the full merged MAME 0.273 romset, and cannot get all games into HyperHQ. I have approx 15000 rom files (not sure how many games) but only get approx 1900 games into HyperHQ. I have tried changing the prioritized region and get different results. Some games only appars in certain regions. E.g. Bubble Bobble (Japan ver) only appears when I set the prioritized region to Japan. My guess is that the prioritized region shouldn't remove any games, only choose the correct version when there are several options. So maybe it is a filtering problem? You could maybe add an option "no prioritazion" to se how that works. It also seems that the Merge clones together removes some games (that do not have clones). I hope this helps. -
After a few restarts of the computer the problem seems to have fixed itself.

Mame does not launch any game from HyperHQ. When I select a game in the list and clicks "Play Now" it shortly the play button spins for a second and the goes back to normal without MAME starting. * I have tried MAME version 0.153 and 0.273b with same results. * Both Mame versions is working when I launch them from the command promt (with the same roms). * Mame launches correctly when I click "Launch" in the Emulators\Mame window (in HyperHQ) . * As "Command Line" I have entered: %rom.path% * I have tried setting "Choose Emulator Override" to MAME without success. Anyone got any idea what I could be doing wrong?
