  1. In case anyone else needs this, hyperpin does not use HEX codes, it uses Action Script. e in Action Script is 69. http://people.uncw.edu/tompkinsj/112/FlashActionScript/keyCodes.htm is the full list.
  2. Ok, another newbie question. I've searched the forums and while I'm sure the answer is there I can't find it. I thought I had decided to build a 3 monitor setup. I've got software installed and have added a few tables with the PC sitting on my desk and 2 monitors installed right now. As soon as the lockdown bar gets here I'll start building the cabinet. Every table I've downloaded and grabbed backglass (and UVP) for fits perfectly to my 16:9 monitor horizontally. I know I can rotate that screen if I want to stick with 2 displays. However, thinking this thru if I put a 3rd monitor in, place it below the backglass monitor and put speaker holes to the left and right of the artificial DMD aren't I going to see the "DMD area" and "speakers" twice? My real ones and the ones as part of the backglass image? The only table I've looked at so far (not that I've looked at a ton of them) where that would not be the case is Addams Family as the backglass I downloaded does not have the DMD area nor speakers. Am I missing something or do I just grab the backglass image and crop the DMD and speakers out of it? If I do that, will the UVP still work correctly or will the lights be "off" since the image changed? TIA for all help. Craig
  3. I am in the early stages of building a HyperPin cabinet. I am waiting on my lockdown bar so that I can get correct measurements for the cabinet. In the meantime I've started building the PC and getting the software running. The problem I'm having right now seem like it should be simple, so I'm probably just missing something. I'm using HyperPin, VP9 and FPLaunch 1.295 WIP 10. In the table, if I hit ESC I get the VP pause menu (not what I want). If I tap e I get the hyperpin exit menu (back, instructions, flyer, service, exit) if I hold e I get the exiting in 3..2..1 I like it this way and plan on making my "exit" button on the cabinet map the e on the ipac. The problem I have is that when I exit back to the Wheel Menu e no longer brings up the HyperPin exit menu. I have to use ESC. Of course I only want 1 button for this on the cabinet. So I went into the settings.ini and change keyboard exit = 27 to keyboard exit = 65 which I believe is HEX for e. However when I do that the e does not work, nor does the ESC any more. I can't exit at all. What am I missing?
