I just did some checking and since MAME is compiled in GCC now it will not run in Windows Xp you will have to upgrade to windows 7 or higher if you want to use it.

Then i dont see why it wouldnt work. But as I said before I dont run Windows xp so I have no way to test that system. What happens when you try to run it? Does it load? Does the Original MAME64 work from there site?

As Im not running any XP versions I can not say what one will. I know MAME is all 64bit now so if you are not at lease running a 64 bit ver I doubt you will be able to use it.

will the current version out not work on xp? Or are you needing a 32bit ver?

Ill try and figure it out Im not sure the command line that does it. I know there is a site out there that has one but Im not sure if Id trust it or not. Give me a few days to figure it out.

I working on it now should be ready in a few hours if all goes right. I will upload it to my onedrive and put the link here. Let me know after you download and how it works. So there hasnt been any change to Mess in years so wont be a monthly update maybe a once per year if that unless I get lots of requests

I believe I have to compile it for the mess but I dont use mess so I cant be 100% sure. I know they merged both a few years back. Give it a try if it doesnt work Ill compile one for you.

Let me see what I  can do for you. Im not sure if it will let me compile a 32bit it keeps kicking out on me at the moment.
