  2. You have to dig, avoiding contact with Spiders, Red Faces - whose contact will make you explode - watching out for rocks that can fall on you. Meanwhile, you've got to collect a number of diamonds per screen.
Other components of the game are Green Rocks - which act as mines and explode while Spiders get close to them, Red Balls - which explode when they fall upon something, and Walls - which come in two types: the ones the explosions destroy and the ones that are undestroyable.
The Diamonds are in fixed places on the screen, but they also appear when a Red Face or a Spider is destroyed.

  4. Land Sea Air Squad for the United States, and also known as Storming Party, is a vertical scrolling shooter arcade game that had been released by Taito Corporation in 1986.
The player must use an 8-way joystick to take control of a soldier, with two buttons to make him fire shots and throw grenades at enemies - and he shall occasionally have to pilot helicopters, tanks, and boats in order to reach the next stage.
When the soldier is on foot, he shall only move forward when you push the joystick up like in a precursor for the second and fifth stages of Konami's Super Contra; however, when he is piloting a vehicle, he will always be moving forward, but you may direct him anywhere (like in countless other vertical shooters). There are a total of eight unique stages for this game - and once you have cleared them all, they'll repeat from the beginning, at a harder level of difficulty (like several other Taito titles).

  9. Four Trax is a racing arcade game, released by Namco in 1989; it runs on Namco System 2 hardware and was later ported to the Sega Genesis in 1991 under the name Quad Challenge. The players must take control of four quad bikes (red for Player 1, white for Player 2, yellow for Player 3, and green for Player 4), which are competing in an "off-road" race - and they all have a preset amount of time in which to complete a full lap of the track, but for each lap of the track that is successfully completed, the players' time is extended. However, if one of the players cannot manage to successfully complete his current lap of the track before the time runs out, his or her game will instantly be over and the race will continue without him or her; the players must complete between three and six full laps of the track in order to win (the number is dependent on how both of the cabinets are set, as with Namco's own Final Lap). The players will also encounter between four and seven blue CPU-controlled bikes on the track

  13. Crazy Taxi is an open world racing video game developed by Kenji Kanno and his team at Hitmaker and published by Sega. It is the first game in the Crazy Taxi series. The game was first released in arcades in 1999 and then was ported to the Dreamcast in 2000. Gameplay is based on picking up taxi customers, and driving to their destination as quickly as possible. Reception to Crazy Taxi has been mostly positive. It was ported to other platforms numerous times, including the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube by Acclaim in 2001, and then Microsoft Windows in 2002. The game has also been re-released for the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, iOS, and is featured on the Dreamcast Collection. It became one of the few Sega All Stars on the Dreamcast, and also earned Greatest Hits and Player's Choice status on PlayStation 2 and GameCube respectively. Sega followed up on the success of Crazy Taxi with numerous sequels, the first being Crazy Taxi 2 for the Dreamcast, which included several gameplay changes.

  14. Golden Axe Myths is a remake of Golden Axe, the classic action game for arcades and 16-bit consoles.
You can choose from four different characters, each with unique abilities and specific weapons. You can even play with several friends on one single computer. A dwarf, an Amazon, and two warriors are the characters that can take you to glory.
Both the gameplay and the enemies are very similar to the original game. You can do normal attacks, jump, use magic, and fight ruffians of all shapes, sizes, and colors. From soldiers with hammers to giants wearing heavy armor ... they're all there.
The graphics are quite different on this remake. The character models have a cartoon-like aesthetic that is really well done, but doesn't match the general violence in the game.
Golden Axe Myths is a really fun game that offers lots of hours of entertainment, as well as a gameplay that never goes out of fashion.

  19. Race Drivin' is a driving arcade that invites players to test drive several high-powered sports cars on stunt and speed courses. The game is the sequel to 1989's Hard Drivin' and was part of a new generation of games that featured 3D polygon environments. Unlike most racing games of its time, it attempted to model real-world car physics in the simulation of the movement of the player's car. Like Hard Drivin', the game was unique among video games in that it included a true force feedback steering wheel, an ignition key, a 4-speed shifter, and 3 foot pedals (an accelerator, a brake, and a clutch (the clutch being a control seldom seen in any video game, then or now))
