Here is something for ppl that are looking for it 
Its action script for Adobe Photoshop that will make double sided 3d box from template.
Use the box template to make full two sided artwork. Export it as png , open and run script!
Do not run script on psd...
This is example of finished png before action script

Just cleaned up bit and pieces. Modified to work as batch. Just change export destination directory.
U can also customize size of exported image.Default export size is my taste
Size of input png image doesnt matter, but for best output use my template for proper spine size

found out that crappy locked jpg files will not work with script due to being ..locked..
fixed that
replaced with new script
