Hyperspin closes when selecting a emulator

 hello everyone. im not sure why this is happening but hopefully someone can help me. when i when i open hyperspin and go to an emulator (let say nes) and hit enter the hyperspin program shuts down and takes me back to my desktop. in hyperlaunch i had no problem since i upgraded to rocket launcher i been having this problem. any help would help thank you

It can sometimes do that if you add the extension and no Rom path or vice versa in HyperHQ.

 

So if you have just upgraded are you using HS 1.3 or 1.4? and if 1.3 did you run the Transition tool?

 

As your a Platinum member I would recommend using 1.4 as the HS ini files will be modified if using 1.3. But some 3rd party apps no longer work with 1.4 but they may get fixed.

thanks gigapig im running 1.3 i been thinking of deleting the whole thing and starting all over which i really dont want to do lol. ill try to upgrade to 1.4 and see if this fixes my problem. now i should say this does not happen to all my emulators. my ps1 , ps2, and mame are working but a few like the nes are closing when selecting the emulator.

No don't do that. You'll just need to put the full path to the RocketLauncher exe in the HS settings.ini.

If you did use the Transition tool you;ll need to restore the backed up ini files.
