radiofrog Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 To start with I probably should not have been using Git Bash without really understanding how it works. Or maybe I did understand, and then just forgot (I hate my brain sometimes). Using Windows 7 (64) Hyperspin 1.3.2.0 X-Arcade Tankstick HyperSpin had been working great for a long time with solo play, but then I ran into a problem with games exiting while we were attempting to play 2-player. After browsing the net, I found that HyperLaunch had a key combo set to "exit." These two keys are mapped to buttons on the Tankstick player-2 side. So I went into the Hyperlauch ahk file and tried to change those. This led to the following error: http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb478/radiofrogtx/Untitled%207.04a.png I undid the ahk files changes, but I continue to get that error. With the way Git Bash changed access to HL, I'm not sure how to correct things. The HS settings.ini seems to be mapping correctly, but I think Git Bash has other ideas. Is there a simplish way to fix this, or have I made a complete mess of it? ArcadeGirl Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Hiya First, I have what I call a virgin HS install. This is so if I mess something up I can always go back Second, I have a back up of my last stable run, so if I mess it up I can revert back. it seems excessive but it helps as I make a lot of mistakes. I would suggest you do the same thing. If you messed up a .ahk file, redownload HS and replace it. If that doesn't fix it, it must be more. remember always back up E
ghutch92 Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 rocketlauncher which has the same developer as RocketLauncher no longer uses git. This makes it less of a headache than HyperLaunch3.
radiofrog Posted July 6, 2015 Author Posted July 6, 2015 Thanks, ArcadeGirl. Yeah, lesson learned; after I get it working again, I'm going to make that backup. I'm hoping I'm not going to have to redo everything. Ghutch, are you meaning RocketLauncher is less of headache than HyperLaunch?
ghutch92 Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Yes that is what I meant. It is less of a headache to update with Rocketlauncher than it is with HyperLaunch.
