Bigmonty Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Hi, I have been using my Hyperspin 1.4 system for a while with an Xbox One controller and all seemed perfect. I upgraded to Windows 10 today and seem to now have an issue with volume control. What happens is that I load Hyperspin with my Xbox One controller connected, I get to the menu and try to use my controller to pick a system, however instead of letting me control it a big volume bar appears and moving the Xbox One controller moves the bar up and down, adjusting the volume. Upon exiting Hyperspin I check my system volume and it appears to be adjusted to whatever it was in Hyperspin. Now I am not sure if this bar is part of Hyperspin or is part of something else in Windows 10. I however have tried numerous programs and games and Hyperspin is the only thing this bar seems to appear in. Any help appreciated.
Bigmonty Posted July 30, 2015 Author Posted July 30, 2015 Yeah it was the startup script. I disabled it and configured my controller to work directly through HyperHQ and it now works fine.
Spawk Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 You cannot use the hyperhq joystick controls! Look into joytokey or xpadder to have a profile just for when in HS. It will also help you exit emulators from joystick. Sent from my SGH-I467M using Tapatalk
epic Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 How are the emulators and everything else working in Win10? I'm considering upgrading my cab to it but am a bit reluctant as it's a pain to work on.
