Niteviper Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Hi all, Need some help with sound settings.. >> Retroarch :: is being my biggest issue at the moment - across all platforms it emulates (nes,snes,ms,md,gbc,gba,ps1) Its Crackly, like a stereo trying to use blown speakers >> Dolphin :: Like retroarch but no where near as bad, tends to be mostly on highest & lowest frequency peaks.. mid range being good sound. >> PPSSPP, Mame, PCSX2 and others are all clear and in good working order. I have tried several settings and multiple combinations of those settings but can't seem to shake the "Crackle-Effect".. I have also checked my drivers for updates etc.. but didnt help.. any tips? PC Sound Drivers: Realtek HD PC Speakers: Standard 2.0 speakers Could it be the emulator drivers/plugins? Need more info.. just ask Thanks in advance

SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 RetroArch... turn off V sync and and shaders you have enabled mate Simply Austin's YouTube
Black Hazor Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Thanks again Austin for your help. Now everything works fine finally
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 No worries mate. If you still want shaders, sometimes just the vsync option will do . For those with issues in GameCube, ensure the same as above, but also I think it's audio 2 on the settings? Can't check on my mobile right now. Simply Austin's YouTube
