Need help HS + EDS + Hyper Marquee

I need help figuring out why when cycling through games in MAME, EDS opens separate windows of Hyper Marquee each game I cycle through instead of either closing the previous or transitioning with the same window.

 

I am assuming the issues is not setting up EDS correctly.

 

I have attached a pic of my EDS setup.

 

Please help!!!

I've been using HyperMarquee w/ EDS for quite a while. I'll check my settings and compare then to your screenshot after I get home later today.

Sorry, it took me a little longer to get back in front of my PC tonight. Anyway, here is the screenshot of my current EDS settings. I don't see any major differences in your Event Filters or Close Filters. You're setting to open a few more times than I do. But for my setup, I don't want the marquee changing each time I'm going through the wheel. I only want mine to change when the game starts.

 

One difference I do see that you may want to change is your IPC Method. It looks like you're using just CLI, where I've been using "Pipe (CLI)". And looking through the EDS Instructions provided in the build, I find this under the explanation of what Pipe does:

 

PROS:

- No need to reload HyperMarquee each time your artworks and text get updated. The artworks or messages are updated at HM run time

 

So...try changing your IPC Method over to "Pipe (CLI)" and see if that helps out.
