Hyper666
Hi, Been trying to get a pair of 360 controllers working with xpadder but when playing games such as KOF etc when you are hitting the buttons frantically (as you do in most fighters) it can trigger either an exit or the game goes back to the main menu? Does the new syperspin start script eliminate the need for xpadder etc? Cheers,
volumetric
The kill command for hyperlaunch/rocket launcher is q + s. Sounds like your p2 controls may use those keys. Not sure if 1.4 eliminates the need for the startup script. You can certainly use a joypad is the HS interface without using xpadder.
SIMPLYAUSTIN
1.4 update (if its stable for you) does get rid of the need for the start up script as it can run 360s as standard. You have to enable them in HyperHQ I believe? The older version of the Startup script (all of which have an amazing icon), did have a bug where if you button mash it can cause a popup or error. I believe Ghutch rectified this on later releases but did not try myself so cannot confirm. If its just the controls and 1.4 is stable for you, you can get rid of the script unless your using it to load other progs on startup. Even then you can use other or get around it. Does it exit the emulator clean like if you press ESC or your binded close system keys? Or does it bug out and cause another issue? I hate Xpadder but it is needed for a few games uuuuurgh REMEMBER!!! If you change anything.... BACK IT UP FIRST!!
Hyper666
Hi, Yep, i have disabled the startup script in hyperspin and ensured that the joypad is enabled in HyperHQ, main issue i have is that the controller is extremely unresponsive in hyperspin main menus unless i use xpadder, is their anything i should check or change so i dont have to use xpadder in hyperspin main screens? SIMPLYAUSTIN
I heard the sensitivity can be adjusted?? I remember 40 bring the sweet spot for most. But as of yet I have not tried. Anyone else have experience in this guys?
Hyper666
Ah ok within the ini? I saw an entry in the startup script of 255 and set it to 50 which seemed to work but as above are we not supposed to use the script anymore and only enable joypad in hyperHQ without xpadder?
