Use Normal Snaps in Hyperspin instead of Video Snaps.

For simplicity, is there a way to setup Hyperspin to just use the normal MAME game snaps when selecting a game instead of the default video snaps?

Yep, just put pngs in the vid folder

I did this too. I have video and game snaps so in case there isn't a video, it by default shows a screenshot

Hey, that's a really good idea. I have some entries I made myself with no videos and was wondering how I was going to record them.

Putting a screenshot and adding "Video Unavailable" at the bottom would be excellent.

In the front end folder u can also by default display a static video or custom video for games without a video or screenshot missing. There is a static wreck it Ralph video I use to. I don't see it much though since I have screenshots or real videos always show

Yeah, I created a simple video of TV static (My build is dripping with TV Static) as a placeholder default video. I added a lot of Rom Hacks to by system though, and there's really no available video-snaps for those. I love the idea of throwing in an image for quick reference on the changes
